Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the largest of the departments. It has initial intake of 60 students. The department has well-equipped labs and a spacious workshop block. All the classrooms, tutorial rooms and most of the labs are situated at one floor of the building.
The workshops are extensively used for imparting practical training. Some repair and model manufacturing is also undertaken in the Workshop
